Because your homemade dentures and veneers won't fit properly, they'll rub on the delicate tissue in your mouth. As a result, you'll end up with sores where the dentures have rubbed. Those sores will cause you serious pain, which will make it difficult for you to eat, chew, or even speak properly. Finally, those painful sores may develop oral infections that will require medical or dental treatment.
Won't Look Natural
Professionally-made dentures and veneers are designed to look like your natural teeth. As a result, you'll continue to feel confident when you smile, even if your natural teeth are missing. However, when you choose homemade dentures and veneers, the final results won't look natural, which means people will be able to notice your dental work each time you smile.
Underlying Problems Not Treated
If you're in need of dentures or veneers, and you choose to go the homemade route, you should know that the underlying dental problem won't be treated. Unfortunately, that means you'll continue to suffer from the dental problems that created the need for dentures and veneers in the first place.
